i’ll say this only once, because i don’t want to worry over burritos that i cannot have. ILLEGAL PETE’S IN COLORADO IS AMONG THE FINEST PURVEYORS OF BURRITOS I’VE EVER VISITED.

Caribbean Jerk burrito from California Tortilla - a mid-Atlantic chain.
A fairly decent burrito, but no real soul. Threw a little sriracha on there for good measure.
on a whim, we were driving while hungry, we stopped in at reyna’s #2 in tustin on sunday morning for breakfast burritos. this here is mine with chorizo, potato, and eggs. it’s a solid effort that could have benefited from a little more spicy (i added salsa to every bite), but the filling was great and not greasy at all (!).

it’s a banzai burrito from wahoo’s, which means that it has your regular burrito fixins AND some tasty stir-fried veggies. i like this burrito; on top is their salsa verde, which is fat free, AND is a recipe that i have cracked.
that’s right, i can make a batch of this tasty sauce for ya and you won’t be able to tell the difference.
